NEIL HUNTER RESIGNS

Neil Hunter has today resigned from his post as 1st team manager at Lordswood FC with immediate effect.

Hunter was in charge for nearly 18 months having taken over from Darren Anslow in June 2020.

Hunter's first season in charge was cut short due to Covid after having played just 13 league games with two wins and two draws. This season hasn't fared much better with the club languishing in the relegation places with two wins and three draws from 20 games.

Lordswood's Vice Chairman, Paul Caulfield said: "We would like to thank Neil for all his efforts during his time with the club, it's disappointing that things haven't worked out the way we would have hoped for him, and we wish him all the very best."

"Assistant Manager, Imran Englefield will take temporary charge of first team matters until a new manager is appointed."
